Here is key information about this medication.<\/p>\n<h4>FDA-approved indications<\/h4>\n<p>To improve wakefulness in adult patients with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), or shift work disorder (SWD)<\/p>\n<h4>Dosage<\/h4>\n<p><em>1. Adults<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Narcolepsy or OSA: 200 mg once daily in the morning<\/p>\n<p>Shift work disorder: 200 mg once a day taken approximately one hour prior to start of the work shift<\/p>\n<p><em>2. Geriatric patients<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Consider lower dose<\/p>\n<p><em>3.
