Thinking:
How can you define thinking:
It is the ability to imagine , arrange and rearrange ideas and concepts to reach a goal or solve a problem
It is the ability to imagine and represent object ot events in memory and to operate on these representations
Types of thinking :
Divergent:
Here we break up the problem into large mumber of ideas to be solved in particular
Convergent:
Is the collection of large mumber of ideas to solve a problem
Stages of Creative thinking:
1- Preparation :
Where one is collecting material , overcoming mental set, function fixed ness and heuriwtic bias .Past experience become but the problem hasn’t been solved.
2- Incubation:
Theproblem is put away foir a while and not solved.
3- Illumination:
Solution comes apparent
4- Verification:
The proposed solution must be tested and verified
The mental set:
Is the tendency to perceive or represents in a particular way , which develops fron continuing use of strategy in the past , which was successful
Fixedness:
One is unable to see the object to be able to serve different functions

Language:
Collection of symbols for communication which is expressed in speech, writing, coding and signing (sun Sun, Had bat cat)
Structure of language :
Phonemes = sounds in b – b t if arranged in bat, hat , cat
Sementics= words that posses a meaning . it has a suffix and prefix
Morphemes = words and or phrases eg exam started
Syntax = word 1 +word 2+word3 in order = sentence. This sentence has a rule and with another sentence can reach a paragraph or concept or goal ie new idea
Pragmatics
The language has its development combined words , phrases, sentences and concepts
